Also many of you have asked to send items with me. I travel on Saturday the 23rd to Miami and then to Haiti first thing Monday morning.
Here is a list of emergency items that we need
band aids gauze for dressing wounds
alcohol swabs (not liquid)
baby wipes
anything antibiotic/medication
vitamins
wash cloths
water purification tablets
gloves/medical
batteries
flashlights
surgical masks (there is heavy dust everywhere)
toothbrushes/toothpaste
these are things we can easily pack and put to immediate use.
also shoes. many are barefoot.
if you have other clothing and items to send those are also welcome.
